National Bank Financial Group launches its second annual series of retirement information sessions
Montreal, 23 September 2008 - National Bank Financial Group is pleased to present its retirement information sessions, which will be held for a second consecutive year in October and November.
The purpose of these sessions is to enable clients to fully grasp the issues related to retirement and the steps involved in planning a retirement strategy, while also giving them the tools they need to reach their personal objectives.
According to the Régie des rentes du Québec, 22.8% of Canadians will be over 65 in 2026. Other surveys show that only a small percentage of Canadians are confident that they will achieve their retirement objectives. In order to address the needs and concerns of this group of people, National Bank Financial Group is offering retirement information sessions to help them develop a retirement strategy so they can make informed decisions.
This year’s presentations will revolve around three key words: understand, plan and act. The presentations will be tailored to the different phases of a client’s life so as to adequately cover a broad spectrum of needs.
Anyone who would like to learn more about National Bank’s retirement information sessions can visit www.nbc.ca/retirement to find out when and where the sessions will be held, sign up directly for a session and get more details about the program.
